Easter

Michaela had such a fun Easter. It's the first time she was really old enough to enjoy it, even if she didn't quite understand it. Michaela was so excited to see her basket the Easter bunny left. She got lots of great stuff, including a Mickey Mouse coloring book. Michaela just kept saying Mickey Mouse over and over. It's cute how she says it - it comes out sounding like "kiki mou".

She was also excited to see her new purple sunglasses. Someday she'll actually learn which way is up on those things.

The bunny also brought lots and lots of bubbles and even an octopus bubble machine! This was a huge hit!!!

Michaela will often try to get the dogs to blow bubbles, even though they don't exactly know how.

Michaela is very good at blowing bubbles all by herself.

I'm not sure she really liked the Easter egg we gave her for breakfast.

When we got to Craig's dad's house in Tallahassee, Michaela was excited to see that the Easter bunny made a stop there as well. The poor thing ran out of arm space when she saw her giant bunny and spotted eagle ray animals.

Grandma was kind enough to push Michaela around on her walker. This turned into a very exciting game for Michaela.

She also had fun emptying the bin of Molly's dog toys and then putting them back in again. At least she cleaned up after herself.

She also had fun playing with a rolled up piece of paper and pretending it was a telescope. Again, Michaela thought Molly should get in on the game, but Molly was not sure how to do it.
