Sunday Sept 14 - Another day at Disney

Last Sunday Craig and I had plans to meet up with Marcia and Matt in Orlando. They were sad they missed Michaela's birthday party and really wanted to see her. We headed down early and went to Magic Kingdom. Michaela got to try out her Pal Mickey for the first time. Here we are in line for the haunted mansion. Halfway through the ride Mickey said "There are ghosts coming out of that organ! It's so sssscarrryy!". How cute!!!

While Craig got lunch, Michaela and I played with my cell phone. We were waiting for news - my cousin Karen had gone into labor the night before and we were anxiously awaiting a call about Tanner's birth!
Michaela has learned to hold the phone up to her ear when I say "Hello? Is anyone there?"
I just love this picture. I'm not sure what she was watching out the window, but something caught her eye.

The park was empty and we didn't have more than a 10 minute wait for any ride. We hopped right on It's A Small World, which she actually enjoyed a lot! Last time we rode it she slept the whole time.
We got Michaela changed so that she could play in a little area with fountains. She was dragging Craig all over the place at first. "This way Daddy!"

Once she finally got brave enough to let go of Craig, Michaela had a blast playing in the water. She laughed the whole time, even when she got shot in the face.

Everytime we go I try and meet characters without waiting in line. This time we met Buzz Lightyear. At first she was a little intimidated to walk up to him, but she eventually decided that Buzz wasn't so bad.

Then we went on Buzz's ride and fought the evil Zurg! Michaela had fun with the joystick and kept spinning us in circles. At first I thought Craig was doing it, but when I looked I saw a tiny little hand controlling our spinning.

Afterwards we met up with Marcia and Matt at Downtown Disney. We ate a nice dinner at Rainforest Cafe and got a seat right next to a fish tank. Michaela loved all the excitement at the restaurant. Michaela was also very excited to see her Aunt Marcia. She stuck out her arms and went right to her!

I love this picture.

After dinner we took a nice walk. Thanks to Marcia for sending this cute family shot. We love you guys!
